32 oz. frozen hash-brown potatoes (thawed)
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 pkg
sour cream (8 oz)
1/2 small
onion, chopped fine
12 oz
grated sharp cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c
butter, melted
2 c
butter crakers, crushed or corn flakes cereal

How to Make Potato Casserole


  • 1Mix potatoes, soup, sour cream, onion, salt and pepper, and half of the cheese and pour into a buttered casserole dish.
  • 2Crush the corn flakes or crackers and mix with the melted butter. Crumble this over the potato mixture, top with remaining cheese.
  • 3Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes covered, then 15 additional minutes uncovered.
