Ingredients
- 1 package 32 oz. frozen hash-brown potatoes (thawed)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 package sour cream (8 oz)
- 1/2 small onion, chopped fine
- 12 ounces grated sharp cheddar cheese
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups butter crakers, crushed or corn flakes cereal
How To Make potato casserole

Step 1Mix potatoes, soup, sour cream, onion, salt and pepper, and half of the cheese and pour into a buttered casserole dish.

Step 2Crush the corn flakes or crackers and mix with the melted butter. Crumble this over the potato mixture, top with remaining cheese.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes covered, then 15 additional minutes uncovered.
