Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 small head cauliflower broken into florets
  • 2 pounds yukon gold potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups gruyere cheese shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

How To Make potato and cauliflower gratin

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 400 degrees. In a saucepan combine the cream, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Add the cauliflower and cook for 10 minutes. Remove the thyme sprigs.
  • Step 2
    Spray a baking dish and layer the potato slices in the bottom of the dish. Top with half the cheeses. Using a slotted spoon remove the cauliflower and spoon it over the potatoes. Top with the remaining cheeses.
  • Step 3
    Pour thed sauce evenly over the whole pan and sprinkle wtih breadcrumbs. Bake for about 30 minutes
