peppered bacon gnocchi (potato dumplings)
I love watching cooking shows on the food network channel. I have seen chefs making these potato dumplings and decided to try them out! I made my own flavors up. This is what I came up with! Enjoy!!

Ingredients
- - boiling water
- 2 4oz packages idahoan peppered bacon potatoes
- 2 - eggs beatened
- 21/2 cups all purpose flour,divided
- - salt and pepper
- BACON BUTTER SAUCE
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- - jalapeno pepper, diced
- 1/3 cup diced onion
- 12 slices precooked bacon
- 1 teaspoon morton nature's seasons'
- 1 teaspoon mrs dash roasted garlic & herb
- 2 sticks butter
- - belgioioso parmesan cheese
How To Make peppered bacon gnocchi (potato dumplings)

Step 1Bring a pot of water to a boil

Step 2Make potatoes according to package. Cool.

Step 3Mean while add oil to skillet. Heat on medium heat.

Step 4Add the jalapeno add onion.

Step 5Cook the bacon in microwave.

Step 6Slice the butter into cubes and add to skillet. Crumble the bacon in. Add the seasonings. Simmer on low heat.

Step 7Add the potatoes to a medium bowl with 11/2 cups flour and the eggs. Mix with a spoon. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 8Add the other cup of flour to a small bowl.

Step 9Using a teaspoon dip in potato mixture and drop in bowl of flour and roll Make little logs or you can make bigger logs.

Step 10Continue until all potatoes are gone.

Step 11Drop potatoes into boiling water, few at a time. When they float to the top they are ready.

Step 12Put potatoes in a serving dish. Pour the bacon butter sauce over potatoes.

Step 13Grade cheese over the top. Just a little.
