Ingredients For peas & new creamed potatoes

  • 1 lb
    whole tiny new potatoes
  • 1 1/2 c
    shelled peas or loose frozen, i used frozen
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 c

How To Make peas & new creamed potatoes

    Cut any large potatoes in half - cook in small amount of boiling water with salt, not the above salt, for 10 minutes or so.

    Add peas, cook 5-10 minutes till tender, then drain
  • 3
    In medium pan cook onion in butter till tender, not brown.

    Add milk all at once, cook and stir till thick and bubbly.

    Cook and stir 1 minute more - stir in potatoes and peas - heat through, season to taste, serves 4 - you'll probably want to double this one.
