How to Make Peas & New Creamed Potatoes
- Cut any large potatoes in half - cook in small amount of boiling water with salt, not the above salt, for 10 minutes or so.
- Add peas, cook 5-10 minutes till tender, then drain
- In medium pan cook onion in butter till tender, not brown.
- Add milk all at once, cook and stir till thick and bubbly.
- Cook and stir 1 minute more - stir in potatoes and peas - heat through, season to taste, serves 4 - you'll probably want to double this one.
