Peas & New Creamed Potatoes
whole tiny new potatoes
shelled peas or loose frozen, i used frozen
1Cut any large potatoes in half - cook in small amount of boiling water with salt, not the above salt, for 10 minutes or so.
2Add peas, cook 5-10 minutes till tender, then drain
3In medium pan cook onion in butter till tender, not brown.
4Add milk all at once, cook and stir till thick and bubbly.
5Cook and stir 1 minute more - stir in potatoes and peas - heat through, season to taste, serves 4 - you'll probably want to double this one.
