I would rather have these anytime than mashed potatoes. They can be made ahead, even a few days.

  • 9 large
    potatoes, peeled
  • 1 stick
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 tsp
    onion salt
  • ·
  • 1/4 stick

How to Make Party Potatoes


  1. Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash as for mashed potatoes.
  2. Add butter, cream cheese, sour cream, and seasonings. Beat till creamy.
  3. Pour into greased 9x13 glass dish. Dot with remaining butter and sprinkle with paprika to garnish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
