I would rather have these anytime than mashed potatoes. They can be made ahead, even a few days.

Ingredients

9 large potatoes, peeled
1 stick butter
8 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces sour cream
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion salt
- paprika
1/4 stick butter

How To Make party potatoes

Step 1

Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash as for mashed potatoes.

Step 2

Add butter, cream cheese, sour cream, and seasonings. Beat till creamy.
Step 3

Pour into greased 9x13 glass dish. Dot with remaining butter and sprinkle with paprika to garnish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
