New potatoes are so good, and make a wonderful side dish just about any way you fix them...I love this quick and easy pan grilled side dish...Just increase the potatoes and seasonings for larger amounts...also...the prepared potatoes make a killer potato salad...Just add hard boiled eggs, the other ingredients of your choosing and some mayo or sour cream to bind...

  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • Dash
    paprika, sweet mild

How to Make Pan Grilled New Potatoes


  1. Scrub potatoes, remove any unwanted sections for the outside peeling. You can cut them into bite sized pieces now or boil them whole...
  2. Boil in small amount of water, just until knife tender, remove from heat, allow to cool down or you can fix the day before and refrigerate until ready to use. If you boil them whole, cut them into bite sized pieces once they are cool...Add the olive oil and butter to a skillet, add the potatoes and seasonings. Stirring every few minutes until the desired amount of grill or browning is achieved.
