onion baked potatoes
These are so good, yet so simple. They could also be done on the grill. We love them. I especially love using Yukon Golds, or New Red Potatoes. Use whatever your favorite is. If I only make 3 potatoes, I drizzle the potato with the remaining onion butter warmed up...Yum! Also, to speed up the process, I have sliced the potatoes as recipe calls, microwave for about 5 minutes. Then spoon on the onion butter, and bake. My photos

Ingredients
- 4 - 6 - potatoes, bakers or whatever you prefer
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package lipton onion soup mix
How To Make onion baked potatoes

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Wash potatoes and dry.

Step 2Slice raw potatoes into 1/2 inch slices, not cutting all the way through the potato. Place on individual foil sheets.

Step 3Combine melted butter and soup mix.

Step 4Spoon mixture over potatoes.

Step 5Wrap in foil and bake until done, approximately 1 hour.

Step 6Enjoy along side of your favorite entree...
