These are an adult flavored dish, unless your young ones are into spicy. They aren't hot, but there is am under current of heat to them. I love the combination of the roasted cinnamon and chipotle.

Ingredients
- 2 - cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1/2 - medium onion, diced (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted saigon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle chili powder (i use a full teaspoon, but it may be to warm for some)
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 4 1/2 cups potatoes, thinly sliced
How To Make on the edge scalloped potatoes

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray shallow 3 quart casserole with butter flavored cooking spray (I use Pam)

Step 2Mix all ingredients, except potatoes, in a large mxing bowl.

Step 3Add potatoes and stir to coat well.

Step 4Pour mixture into prepared casserole dish.

Step 5Bake covered for 25 minutes. Then remove cover and bake an additional 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Step 6Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes for sauce to thicken.
