There are lots of hash browns casserole recipes, but if you like it "cheesy"...this is a winner! We even like it for breakfast!

    Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns
  • 1 can(s)
    Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 2 c
    Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 3/4 c
    Sour Cream
  • 1/4 c
    Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 c
    Butter, Melted
  • 1 1/2 c
    Corn Flakes, Coarsely Crushed
  • 2 Tbsp
    Butter, Melted

How to Make Nicely Cheesy Hash Browns Casserole


  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2-quart glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. If doubling the recipe, use a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. In large bowl combine hash browns with the next 5 ingredients; mix well. Spread into prepared baking dish.
  3. In small bowl stir together the corn flakes and 2 Tbls. melted butter. Spread topping evenly over hash browns.
  4. Bake 45 minutes or until hash browns are tender.
