How To Make *** mom's oven style candied sweet potatoes ***

  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  Par-boil sweet potatoes, 20 minutes. Cool, then peel.

  Place whole peedled potatoes in 13 x 9" greased baking dish.

  In saucepan, melt sugar & butter together. Pour over potatoes. Bake with cover or foil for 2 hours. Flip & baste after 1 hour. Cut on angle & baste again.
