Ingredients For *** mom's candied mashed sweet potatoes ***

  • 2 lb
    sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    bourbon
  • 2
    scallions, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 c
    toasted pecans

How To Make *** mom's candied mashed sweet potatoes ***

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
  • 2
    Boil potatoes, 20 minutes. Drain.
  • 3
    Mash potatoes, butter, sugar, bourbon, scallions & cinnamon.

    Pour potato mixture into greased baking dish, sprinkle pecans on top. Bake 1 hour.
