Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs - potatoes, washed, peeled and cut in chunks,
  • 1/4 C - butter
  • 1 -2Tbs - cream cheese
  • 1/4 C - milk
  • 2 Tbs - real bacon bits
  • 1/2 C - colby -jack cheese shreded
  • 2 Tbs - montreal steak seasoning
  • - additional salt to taste, & pepper

How To Make mashed potatoes montreal by freda

  • Step 1
    In a large Pot, add Potatoes cover with salted water Bring to Boil, then reduce heat to Med. Cook til fork tender, about 20 min. Drain.
  • Step 2
    Mash Potatoes, with potato Masher. Add Butter, & cream cheese. Stir in the Milk, bacon bits, Cheese and steak seasoning. Season to taste. Serve HOT with your favorite Main dish. Garnish with More Colby-Jack cheese if you prefer.
