Growing up my mother made creamy taters with russett or idaho taters. I love red taters an I also love them lumpy! So here's my way!

Ingredients
- 7-10 medium red taters cut into fourths
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1-2 teaspoon chilli powder
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make mash taters my way

Step 1Bring taters to a boil over med high heat and cook until fork tender.Drain, do not rinse.

Step 2Put butter into hot pot and dump taters on top. Hand mash and add evaporated milk at this point you can either continue to hand mash or use a mixer for fluffier taters.Add some regular milk if it is to thick.

Step 3Add chilli powder and salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
