- 6 medium potatoes
- 1/2 - of an 8oz carton of sour cream
- 3 ounces pkg cream cheese cut up
- 1 tablespoon margarine or butter
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4-1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon margarine or butter
- - salt & pepper to taste
How To Make make ahead mashed potatoes

Step 1Peel & quarter potaotes;cook comered in boiling salt water for 20 to 25 min or until tender;drain & mash

Step 2Add sour cream,cream cheese,1 tbs margarine,salt & pepper;gradually beat in enough milk to make smooth & fluffy

Step 3turn into a greased 1 1/2 qt casserole dish. cover w/foil & chill up to 24 hrs

Step 4To serve, dot with remaining margarine; bake uncovered in a 350 oven about 45 min or until heated.

Step 5Recipe can be doubled;put inot a 3 qt casserole; bake for 1 hr; Stir twice
