large russet potatoes
4 oz
sour cream
1/2 c
ranch dressing
8 oz
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 pkg
green onions sliced
1 pkg
real bacon pieces (found in the salad topping section)
4 Tbsp


1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2Clean and wash potatoes
3using a knife or fork poke holes in potatoes and place in microwave and bake (times may vary depending on microwaves)
4Once potatoes are cooked all the way through cut each potato in half length ways. and using a small spoon scrape meat out of the center leaving about 1/4 inch of flesh (this will be the bowl)and place meat into a mixing bowl.
5using an electric hand mixer turn potato meat into mashed potatoes.
6once potatoes are mashed add sour cream, butter , ranch, bacon, and half of the cheese. mix well .
7Fill a gallon sized freezer bag with the filling and cut the corner off of bag( this is the easiest way to fill potato shells)
8Fill potato shells and place in a baking dish.
9Once all shells are filled smooth out filling and top each shell with cheese.
10Bake in oven until cheese is melted and filling is hot.
