Ingredients

  • 10 or 12 medium
    medium sized red skinned potatoes; unpeeled
  • 1 bag(s)
    (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    commercial sour cream
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    pepper to taste

How to Make Loaded Mashed Potatoes

Step-by-Step

  1. Peel & Cut up potatoes.Cook potatoes in boiling water25 minutes or until tender.
  2. Drain potatoes in a colander and return to pot. Add butter, sour cream, salt and pepper. Cream with an electric mixer. Stir in onions and bacon.
  3. Spray the bottom of a glass casserole with butter-flavored cooking spray. Spread potatoes into pan.
  4. Cover with shredded cheddar and bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
