This is one of those dishes that you could eat as a side or main dish. It's easy to prepare and oh so delicious. I love the smokiness that the bacon and sausage add to the potatoes. The seasonings really help balance out the dish and, of course, the gooey cheese is the perfect topping. The Test Kitchen

Colby/Monterey Jack shredded cheese

How to Make Loaded Fried Potatoes

Step-by-Step

  • 1Melt butter in large skillet. Add potatoes, onion, parsley, salts, and pepper. Let it cook down a little.
  • 2Add sausage, mushrooms, and bacon. Continue to cook until potatoes are tender and browned.
  • 3Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
