I love to cook with lemon pepper. My kids despise it. So I cook myself treats after they go to school, and the baby eats it anyway.

How to Make Lemon Pepper Fried Potatoes

Step-by-Step

  1. Quarter the potatoes, place in a small pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook until potatoes are just fork tender. Any longer and they get too mushy.
Place in colander in sink and let drain.
  2. Heat oil skillet (non stick is best) over medium high heat. While it is heating, shake the potatoes a few times, and then season well with lemon pepper while still in colander.
  3. When oil is heated, carefully slide the potatoes into the pan, and cook until golden brown. I usually just cook one side, but you can cook the other sides too. Salt if needed, and enjoy
