When I worked my frist job as a kitchen help I learned how to make this salad. And over the years I have worked on it & added other ingredients. This is local favorite here in Hawaii. It is a family favorite at all of our family parties.
1Frist wash & boil the potatoes in a large bowl. When cool enough to touch peel off the skin & set aside in a large bowl. Then in a medium pot boil the eggs,let cool, peel & set aside in a small bowl. Then boil the macaroni as directed on box & set aside.
2Next in the bowl with the potatoes cube each one into buite side pieces. Then cube the hard boil eggs into smaller bite side pieces & pour over the potatoes.
3Next add in the chopped onions, sliced celery & cooled macaroni to the bowl & softly mix.
4Then add in the mayo, pepper & fold over to coat carefully. Add in the salt to taste.
5Then pour into a big clean serving bowl or keep in the same bowl. Keep on ice or in the ice box.
6Special Tip: Will keep fresh in the ice box for up to a week. But never last that long in my house with my family.
