"in a pinch" cheesy potato casserole

From start to finish, on the table in 1 yes 1 hour!!!! One of my entire families favorites, my In-Laws request every family gathering. They think I slaved in the Kitchen!!!

Ingredients

  • 2 packages simply potatoes shredded hash browns
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cups real sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine melted
  • 2 dashes salt
  • 2 dashes black pepper
  • 4 cups extra sharp cheddar shredded
  • "FLAKY" CRISPY TOPPING
  • 3 cups cornflake crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine melted

How To Make "in a pinch" cheesy potato casserole

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350* gather your ingredients and chop your onion.
  • Step 2
    in a large bowl combine your potatoes, chopped onion, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar, melted butter and a dash of salt & pepper. Combine well. Transfer into a well greased casserole dish.
  • Step 3
    In a small bowl combine your cornflake crumbs and melted butter to make your topping, stir well until mixed together. Spread the mixture evenly over the top of your potatoes and place in a 350* oven for 45 minutes
  • Step 4
    Remove from the oven and ENJOY this bite of Cheesy Goodness !!!!
