- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 tablespoon sweet hungarian paprika
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How To Make hungarian paprika potatoes
-
Step 1In a heavy saucepan, sauté onion in butter until transparent. Add potatoes, paprika, green pepper, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of water.
-
Step 2Continue cooking over low heat until the potatoes are tender, adding a little more water if necessary. Don’t stir, but shake the pan occasionally, as stirring can break up the potatoes.
-
Step 3Serve warm.
