    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp
    basil, dried
  • ·
    salt, to taste

How to Make Hot Tomato Cinnamon Oven Fries


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) (convection oven, otherwise 375°F or 190°C)
  2. Peel potatoes and cut into 1 cm (0.4 inches) sticks and soak for 10 minutes in a bowl of cold water.
  3. Combine olive oil, tomato paste, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, basil and salt to taste.
  4. Drain potatoes well and toss in marinade. Spread on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for about 30 minutes, stirring once after 15 minutes.
