Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon, cooked & crumbled
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup bacon drippings
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 5 medium potatoes, cooked & cubed
- 2 x large eggs, hard boiled, diced
How To Make hot german potato salad

Step 1Cook bacon until crisp, drain & crumble.

Step 2Saute celery & onion in bacon drippings until tender.

Step 3Combine sugar, flour, & seasonings; stir into drippings.

Step 4Add water & vinegar, stirring until smooth. Bring to a boil; add potatoes & bacon. Mix thoroughly. Gently fold in eggs.
