My husband loved horseradish flavoring in many foods, alongside foods, in dips. This was one of his favorite way to have it.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons horseradish
  • 2 pounds yukon gold potatoes, peeled, sliced
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese

How To Make horseradish scalloped potatoes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375F. Grease 1-1/2 quart casserole. Combine milk & horseradish in medium microwavable bowl. Microwave on high about 1 minute or just until hot; set aside.
  • Step 2
    Cut potatoes into 1/4" thick slices; layer slices in prepared casserole. Stir cream, salt & pepper into milk mixture; pour over potatoes.
  • Step 3
    Cover, bake 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese, bake, uncovered, 40 minutes or until bubbly & golden brown.
