My Hubby's fav snack ;) He had to show me how to make them crispy. So all the props go to him:) Love my hubby. Enjoy!!!

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • - sea salt
  • - pepper
  • - peanut oil for fryng

How To Make homemade potato chips

  • Step 1
    I use a deep fryer for this recipe and I use peanut oil. Preheat deep fryer.
  • Step 2
    Slice potatoes thin, I use a mandolin for slicing. "best investment I ever made for the kitchen"
  • Step 3
    Fry 1 to 1 1/2 potatoes at a time depending on the size of your fryer. Move potatoes around in the oil making sure not to stick together. When potatoes start to float about 2 to 3 minutes pull basket out of oil and let potatoes rest and cool down for a minutes or two. Place basket back into oil and continue frying until golden brown or until your liking.
  • Step 4
    Remove from oil drain on paper towel and season with salt and we like to use pepper too.
  • Step 5
    Enjoy!!!
