I've been making this recipe for over 30 years and Everyone loves these mashed potatoes. I love being able to make the day before a holiday and just popping in the oven.

Ingredients For holiday mashed potatoes

12 mdpotatoes, peeled, cooked & hot

8 ozcream cheese softened

1/4 cbutter/margarine
-
1/2 csour cream
-
1/2 cmilk
-
2eggs, lightly beaten

1/4 cminced onion, optional
How To Make holiday mashed potatoes

1Mash hot potatoes. Add cream cheese in small pieces and then butter. Beat well until melted and completely mixed in.

2Mix in sour cream.

3To the milk add the eggs and onion. Add to the potato mixture along with salt and pepper. Beat well until light and fluffy.

4Place in a greased casserole and refrigerate overnight or several hours.

5Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until lightly browned on top.
