I believe its cold here, 35 degrees so Im making some good old comfort food. This bacon potato chowder is one of the best comfort food you can have. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 cups cubed new red potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 10 3/4 ounces can condenced cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces can whole kernal corn, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme, dried

How To Make hearty bacon potato chowder

  • Step 1
    In a 3 quart sauce pan cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes; Add potatoes and onions. Continue cooking occasionally, until potatoes are tender [15--20 minutes.]Add remaining ingredients. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until heated through [10--12 minutes]
