I ate a similar casserole in French Camp,Mississippi, when my cousin died. I came home and tried to duplicate it. It is similar to the one I ate there.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces cheez whiz
- 8 ounces french onion dip
- 1 can cream of anything soup (mushroom is my favorite)
- 1 stick butter
- 32 ounces chunky frozen hashbrowns
- 8 ounces mild cheddar cheese, grated
How To Make hashbrown casserole

Step 1Mix cheez whiz, french onion dip, soup, and 1/2 stick butter in a large bowl. Stir in the hashbrowns. pour mixture into a 13x9-inch pyrex dish. Top with mixture of grated cheese and remaining 1/2 stick of butter (melted). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
