I found this recipe 30 years ago in the star. This can be made for breakfast or a side for dinner. This is so easy. Always requested at potlucks

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen southern style hashbrowns 32oz
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 bag cheddar cheese, shredded 4 cups
  • 1 cup saltine cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter

How To Make hash brown potato casserole

  • Step 1
    Thaw hash browns in microwave
  • Step 2
    Mix all ingredients together saving two cups of cheese for the top of casserole.Put in a buttered 9x11 -inch pan and spread remaining cheese on top.Crush saltine crackers in a freezer bag. Add butter and microwave until melted. Mix contents of bag together and sprinkle on top of cheese.
  • Step 3
    bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes
