Ingredients For hash brown casserole

  • 2 lbs. lb
    frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 3/4 c
    butter, melted, divided
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 dash
    pepper to taste
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar chesse
  • 2 c
    club crackers, crushed

How To Make hash brown casserole

    Stir potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, soup and cheese in bowl

    Pour potato mixture into 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with crumbs and remaining melted butter. Bake uncovered in preheated 325°F oven for 1 hour.

    SOME OPTIONS I have added left over ham, or turkey to this and it becomes A nice easy lunch or supper with a toss salad. This also works just fine in a crock pot. Cook on low about 2 hrs hold onto the crumbs and top with more cheese .
