Ingredients
- 2 pounds pkg frozen shredded hash browns
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons minced onions
- 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- - topping
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups cracker crumbs, saltines or ritz
How To Make hash brown casserole

Step 1Mix first seven ingredients, layer 1/2 of potato mixture in 13x9 buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 of cheese. Layer the rest of the potato mixture over cheese. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.

Step 2Mix together the topping ingredients and spread on top of the cheese layer.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
