My husband loves potatoes and he loves casseroles so I combined the two a few years ago into this recipe. It is a great dish for potlucks or BBQ's. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 package frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can nacho cheese soup
- 1 teaspoon salt or garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons mccormick hot shot
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make hash brown casserole

Step 1Cut bacon into bite sized pieces. Saute bacon and onion in a skillet until bacon is crisp & onions are tender.

Step 2In a large bowl, mix together hash browns, soups, salt, Hot Shot, bacon & onion until thoroughly combined.

Step 3Place mixture in a greased 13x9 casserole dish, cover dish with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 4Remove foil and top with shredded cheese. Return to oven and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and casserole is hot & bubbly.
