Who would know that just adding some cream cheese to mashed potatoes would make them to die for! Thanks Aunt Patty and Aunt Mary! Didn't know I could love mashed potatoes even more!

Ingredients

4 large
potatoes
4 oz
Cream Cheese
1/4 c
sour cream
1 Tbsp
chopped Chives or green onions
1 tsp
garlic salt
2 pinch
black pepper
1/4 c
milk
3 Tbsp
butter, not salted
1 tsp
paprika

How to Make Haas Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Step-by-Step

  • 1Peel and cube the potatoes; rinse then place in a saucepan and cover with water. Spoon into a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Dot with butter; sprinkle with paprika if desired. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until heated through.
  • 2Cook over medium heat until tender; drain. Mash. (do not add milk or butter).
  • 3Stir in cream cheese, sour cream, chives, garlic salt and pepper. Stir in milk to your desired.
  • 4Spoon into a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. With a large fork, scrape the top and make lines. Melt butter and pour over top of potatoes; sprinkle with paprika if desired.
  • 5Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until heated through.
