i was taking dishes to church dinners and thought i'd try something diferent. and to me this sounded good together. and it was every one liked it.

    2 large jars white cheese
  • ·
    4 or 5 med-large potatoes
  • ·
    chives, dried
  • ·
    pam cooking spray
  • ·
    1 large oblong baking dish

How to Make grace's cheese and chives potatoes


  1. prehaet oven to 350. wash potatoes and boil til fork tender about 45 mins not too tender or it will mush. when tender, run under water and peel potatoes. easier to peel that way. rinse. now slice all potatoes. arrange first layer in sprayed baking dish.
  2. then pour white cheese over first layer til they r covered well. then sprinkle well enough with chives that you can see them rather well. repeat the same with each layer, til you get to the top. then cheese and a little more chives.
  3. you may sprinkle litely with salt if u desire. place in preheated oven for about 15-20 mins til hot threw.
