I got this recipe from my grandma. She'd serve them at our holiday parties, especially Christmas. Now I carry on her tradition.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 package frozen hash browns, thawed
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups crushed cornflakes
How To Make golden potatoes

Step 1In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients. Fold in two cups cheddar cheese. Stir in onions and pepper.

Step 2Spread potato mix into a 13 x 9 baking dish. Top with remaining two cups of cheddar. Sprinkle cornflakes on top.

Step 3Bake 350 for 45 minutes. *this can be made the night before and refrigerated until ready to bake.
