How to Make German Style Potato Salad
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1 inch chunks.
Place in a large pot of salted water and boil until tender and then drain well.
- Quarter the sausage so that it looks like pickle spears and then slice thinly. Thinly slice the shallots and slice the garlic.
- Saute the sausage in a large non stick skillet, wit the shallots and garlic until the sausage is crisp.
- Add the potatoes to the skillet, salt and pepper and apple cider vinegar and water. Stir and cook until liquid is absorbed.
- Serve warm.
