Recently, it came to my attention that not everyone has a German Potato Salad recipe.

6 - boiled potatoes
6 - boild eggs
1/4 cup bacon drippings
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 - small chopped onion

How To Make german potatoe salad

Step 1

In a large bowl slice potatoes (not cube). Add eggs, bacon and onion.

Step 2

Cook the bacon drippings, sugar, flour, seasonings, vinegar and water until thickened and then pour over potatoes and serve warm.
Step 3

Can be kept warm in a skillet.
