Ingredients
- 7 - potatoes, precooked, peeled, sliced or cubed
- 6 slices bacon, diced
- 1/4 - onion, grated
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make german potato salad

Step 1Boil potatoes in jackets. Cool. Peel and slice. In electric fry pan or fry pan on stovetop, brown diced bacon and grated onion. When bacon is crispy, stir in flour. Stir well. Gradually add sugar, vinegar and water. Stir until thickened.

Step 2Fold in precooked, peeled sliced potatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3Simmer until heated thoroughly. Keep covered until ready to serve.

Step 4HINT: I like to make this ahead and keep it warm in a crock-pot if I am going to a get together
