I don't recall where I got this recipe from....but it is a favorite.

1 large
frozen bag shredded hash brown potatoes (raw)
2 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 pt
sour cream
1 bunch
green onions, tops only, sliced
2-2 1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 stick
butter, melted
bread crumbs, corn flakes or potato chips

How to Make Funeral Potatoes


  • 1Mix the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl, then put into a 9x13 pan.
  • 2Combine your choice of topping (bread crumbs, corn flakes or potato chips) with melted butter. Top potato mixture. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes.
