How to Make Frying Pan Loaded Potatoes
- In a large non-stick frying pan cook 4 slices bacon until crisp and set aside leaving fat rendered in the pan.
- Put onions in pan and cook about 5 minutes. Add thinly sliced potatoes, salt & pepper and after mixing them with a wooden spatula put the lid on the pan and cook on medium low heat (stirring often) for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- When potatoes are done, add cheese on top and put lid back on pan until cheese melts - about one minute.
- After cheese melts, put 4 dollops of sour cream plus the bacon that you have crumbled on top and serve.
