1Start by slicing washed potatoes into thin circles. I like to leave the skin on, you could peel if you prefer. Slice the onion into thin rings, and then chop in half.
2In a large skillet, add butter and melt. Add the potatoes and onions, coating with all the butter. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper.
3Cover and cook until potatoes are soft and slightly browned. Be careful not to burn, and use a spatula to turn to keep the shape of the potatoes. Enjoy!
