A yummy side for any kind of meat! You can adjust this to meet to how many people you are serving. I only serve for 4, but you could add more of everything for more people.

russet potatoes, sliced thin
small onion sliced
1 stick
1 Tbsp
garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Fried potatoes


  • 1Start by slicing washed potatoes into thin circles. I like to leave the skin on, you could peel if you prefer. Slice the onion into thin rings, and then chop in half.
  • 2In a large skillet, add butter and melt. Add the potatoes and onions, coating with all the butter. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • 3Cover and cook until potatoes are soft and slightly browned. Be careful not to burn, and use a spatula to turn to keep the shape of the potatoes. Enjoy!
