- 1 medium idaho or russet potato
- 4 tablespoons cooking oil of your choice.
- dash salt and pepper
How To Make fried potatoes for one

Step 1Wash, peel and rinse one medium potato. Slice into thin slices.

Step 2Add oil to frying pan heat to medium heat. Add potatoes. Be careful you may get splatters of hot oil popping from any water on the potatoes.

Step 3Add dashes of Salt and Pepper at this time. Let fry for a few minutes then add lid. Fry for about 10 minutes or so. Then turn the potatoes and add more S&P if you want. Cover with lid slightly tilted. Fry until tender and somewhat crispy to your liking.
