these are great its just enough for two people these cheesy fries are the best

Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 5 to 6 large potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons garlic
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 3 - inch chunk of velveeta cheese, cut into thin slices

How To Make fried cheese potatoes

  • Step 1
    peel and cube potatoes. cook in oil, in covered skillet, turning about every 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    add onions, salt and pepper to taste and continue to cook over low heat, until potatoes are almost cooked, turning often.
  • Step 3
    remove cover and continue to cooking, until well browned and slightly crisped.
  • Step 4
    add velveeta cheese slices, put cover back on, and let simmer for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. mix in cheese and serve.
