This recipe is a modification of a popular cheesy potato casserole. It is much easier to prepare and always receives raves from friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag(s)
    frozen shredded hashbrown potatoes (i use mr. dell's, but any will do)
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup (can substitute celery or mushroom)
  • 1
    16 oz carton of french onion dip
  • 2 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 c
    crushed potato chips

How to Make French onion potato casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients except the potato chips and 2 Tablespoons of the butter.
  2. Add the potato chips as a topping and drizzle remaining butter over them.
  3. Cook in a 350 degree oven for around 55-60 minutes.
