This recipe is a modification of a popular cheesy potato casserole. It is much easier to prepare and always receives raves from friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen shredded hashbrown potatoes (i use mr. dell's, but any will do)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (can substitute celery or mushroom)
  • 1 - 16 oz carton of french onion dip
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups crushed potato chips

How To Make french onion potato casserole

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients except the potato chips and 2 Tablespoons of the butter.
  • Step 2
    Add the potato chips as a topping and drizzle remaining butter over them.
  • Step 3
    Cook in a 350 degree oven for around 55-60 minutes.
