1In a medium size bowl, fill with cold water and place potato strips in.
2In medium size bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, old bay seasoning, salt and pepper. Stir in egg and milk. Stir until the mixture is smooth and place in fridge for 20 minutes.
3In electric skillet or large pot, heat oil to 350*. Fry the potato strips until they are golden brown and tender. Place on paper towels to drain and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in 200* oven to keep warm while fish is frying.
4Place one piece of fish in batter and then into the hot oil and fry until deep golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
