This recipe is named for the content, lots of dairy = lots of fat.....trust me it's worth it!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 - large bag of hash browns
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1- 24 ounces container sour cream
  • 1 - small white onion , chopped
  • 1 - 16 ounces bag of shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make fat potatoes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350, Lightly spray a 13x9 baking dish
  • Step 2
    Spread 1/3 of the bag of hash browns on bottom of pan.
  • Step 3
    Spoon half the can of soup and spread across hash browns
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle 1/2 the chopped onions
  • Step 5
    spoon half the sourcream and spread evenly
  • Step 6
    Repeat the layers, 1/3 hash browns , remaining soup, onions and sour cream.
  • Step 7
    Add the remaining hash browns and top with the shredded cheese
  • Step 8
    Cover with foil and bake for one hour. It may take a little longer if the cheese is not melted , check in 15 min increments.
