Ingredients
- 8-10 medium potatoes (red or brown)
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 stick butter
How To Make easy mashed potatoes

Step 1Slice potatoes in 1/4-inch slices. Do not peel!

Step 2Cook in a large covered saucepan in salted water.

Step 3Cook until fork tender.

Step 4Drain in a colander.

Step 5Immediately place them back in pan over medium heat.

Step 6Mash with a potato masher.

Step 7Add butter and sour cream.

Step 8Season as desired with salt and pepper.
