easy cheesy potatoes
I've been making this simple potato dish for my family for years, and I've been asked for the recipe many times. My daughter, Katie, loves them so much she always hides secret stashes in the fridge for later.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds frozen hash browns
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups velveeta, cubed
- 1 pint sour cream
- - bread crumbs
How To Make easy cheesy potatoes

Step 1Thaw hashbrowns before baking. Saute chopped onion.

Step 2Mix together sour cream, soup, Velveeta, onion, and hashbrowns. Grease or spray 9" X 13" baking dish, and spread mixture in dish.

Step 3Melt butter and add bread crumbs to desired consistency. Sprinkle over potatoes.

Step 4Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.
