Ingredients

  • 1 pint half and half
  • 2/3 pound velveeta
  • 1 package (8 oz.) cheddar cheese
  • 1 stick butter
  • 32 ounces pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes (i like to use shredded)

How To Make easy au gratin potatoes

  • Step 1
    Combine half and half, cheeses and butter. Heat in microwave until melted on HIGH stirring after each minute. Put hash browns (I like to use shredded) in a 9 x 13 pan. Pour melted cheese mixture over potatoes and let stand 1/2 hour.
  • Step 2
    Cover pan with foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
