I saw this recipe many years ago on a food show and have been making them every since. Always a hit whenever I make them. Great side dish that works in a dinner party or a cookout.

Ingredients

  • 8 medium red potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon dried or fresh dill

How To Make dill red potatoes with garlic sour cream

  • Step 1
    You can cut the potatoes in fours, halves or leave them whole depending on the size.
  • Step 2
    Boil the potatoes with a pinch of salt until soft. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    In a skillet heat the olive oil and toss in the garlic. Cook for a bit then add the dill and sour cream.
  • Step 4
    Toss the potatoes in the sauce and let it sit for a few minutes in low heat.
  • Step 5
    Salt and pepper to taste.
